Amber served as a Family Service Counselor and Home Care Nurses Aide. She also worked alongside medics, law enforcement with her professional capacity.

Amber holds a Bachelor's degree and has utilized her education as a mentor, and advocate for children, seniors and those in foster care.
Community service
She's helped countless individuals navigate mental health, addiction, and homelessness. She mentored incarcerated women and guided families toward reunification through the foster care system.

Amber Cantu is the voice our community needs—compassionate, and ready to lead. As a Native-born Washingtonian and 6th-generation direct descendant of Chief Seattle, Amber brings deep heritage and heartfelt service to everything she does.
She's not a politician—she's one of us. As a dedicated wife of 29 years and a loving foster/adoptive mother to 12 children, Amber knows the challenges real families face and how to bring people together.
Amber's priorities are clear: public safety, lower taxes, caring for our seniors, and preserving the vibrancy of our community. She believes our seniors are the backbone of Marysville and is committed to ensuring they are respected, supported, and heard. She's also dedicated to fully funding our police and first responders to keep Marysville safe. Her leadership is grounded in common sense, compassion, and a love for our community.
